contrast administration
Can someone help me figure out dose calculations for contrast.
describe the amount of contrast that should be administered to a pt weighing 145lbs?

its 0.2 ml per kg of body weight
and
1 kg is 2.2 lbs
so for 145lb patient
145/2.2 = 65.9 kg
65.9 kg x 0.2 ml = 13.18 ml

This depends on the contrast agent and its concentration. The accompanying package insert of this contrast agent should be followed. This is for testing purposes, or?
