Depending on the sequence and the field strength there can be artifacts that look like eye movement and are difficult to separate. To avoid eye movement should the patient not only close the eyes or fix a point, but also with closed eyes think about not to move the eyes.
Other artifacts (e.g. ghosting) can be reduced with fat suppression, reduction of the water fat shift, T1 with a long TE (to reduce the brightness of fat), and/or a higher matrix.
Also the perfect positioning of the coil and a homogeneity correction will improve the image quality. I do not know a post processing program that removes those artifacts.

I have a set of MR image of an eye which is acquired from a commercial surface coil. The questions are:
(1) How do I know there is any eye movement during imaging?
(2) How do I remove the artifact if there is any eye movement? Is there a program to do so?
It is deeply appreciated to have help from you.

Does anybody know some material, that is still easy to machine, better non-conductive and - most important - has a susceptibility close to zero. Is there composite materials that are especially made for such purposes?
I know that coils for NMR are usually made like this, but I'm looking for some material that I could make a whole NMR probe out of. It should be non-conductive, because I don't want eddy currents.

Only safe in a system with transmit/recieve coils as long as relevant area is not within the coil. Suggest you check with manufacturer of particular device.

Moire fringes are typical for gradient echo sequences, especially balanced sequences like for example true fisp, bFFE. The reasons are interferences and field inhomogeneities. High order shimming (volume shimming), a more suitable coil, a smaller bandwidth, and scanning not in the edges of the magnetic field will avoid or reduce this artifact. Also parallel imaging techniques can have a positive influence. If this artifact appears, also by using other sequences, a new field adjustment can be necessary (service).
