What are the best sequences for evaluating of the female pelvis. Regarding that I am doing a research on the role of DWI in characterization of female pelvic masses. Our machine is a Hitachi Airis Avento. I did not find the b value, however a diffusion button is there. rn

diffusion MRi
Hi
My name is Tina and I am currently studying Diffusion weighted MRI. I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on the effect of introducing a slice selection gradient along with the diffusion gradient on the signal attenuation. Also if there are any sites that could explain it, I would appreciate the information.
Thank you.

Impact of contrast materials on the Diffusion weighted imaging
Hello all,
I'm looking for the articles regarding effects of contrast materials and especially SPIO and USPIO on DW imaging. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,

We scan on a 3T, our protocol is 22 minutes. T2 cor/sag, T1 full pelvis, Diffusion, post contrast dynamic imaging.

DWI of the prostate
In need of a protocol for the prostate. Our system is a 1.5 GE Signa Excite 12.0 software.
Under the diffusion options screen the only B-value options are 1000,1500, and 2000.
Should Dual Spin Echo option be selected ?
Main question relates to post processing of the DWI to ADC. Under Functool, what is a good threshold # to choose ?
