MRI Registry Review
I am studying for the MRI Registry and was wondering is there any study material out there close to the Registry exam. Heard the MIC was overkill. Thanks ahead.

Abdominal MRI question
I am a newer MRI tech and do well using a butterfly for injections but haven't had any training on starting IVs. Our radiologists want a 25 second post scan on liver exams. Does anyone have any ways to accomplish this using a butterfly?

MRI questions
I had MRI of the femur and pelvis. Can you explain abnormal findings:

"Marrow signal abnormality in the metaphysis and diaphysis of both femora without lesion. Possible red marrow conversion".

Specifics of MRI show:
MRI shows patchy low T1 and high T2 marrow signal in meta and diaphysis in both femur. At mid diaphyseal level, curvilinear bright T2 and STIR signal noted in the intramedullary cavity. No lesion noticed.

Thanks for any insight. Is there another website I could use for more information?

Vibrant Sound Bridge and MRI
Hello everyone,
I have a Vibrant Soundbridge implanted on both sides of my skull, which contain a magnet. I use them due to severe hearing impairment.
Now the question is, I was told that MRI was prohibited for patients with a Vibrant Soundbridge.
Could anyone suggest an alternative to this problem please? Is there another equipment allowing me to have the conclusions normally obtained from MRI? My problem is an accident to my spinal cord, which requires further investigation using an MRI.
I would appreciate any help!
Thanks a lot
