Dynamic data of MRI
Hi,everybody. I'm now programming about reconstruction of parallel MRI, but the only problem is that I don't have any dynamic data, so can anyone tell me how can I get the data?

Can some one help me w/this question.

From the following parameters what will the scan time be, in minutes, to acquire data?

TR 2000msec FREQUENCY STEPS 256
TE 60msec NEX 2
T1 800msec FLIP ANGLE 90
pixel .95x.95mm PHASE STEPS 192

THANKS

Knee Protocol
Hi Neeta,

I'm also interested in scanning of knee cartilage and found this links helpful:

In addition, when you google for
"Cartilage repair strategies" look for a Google Book

Kind Regards

90 excitation pulse vs 180 inversion pulse
Perhaps this will help shed some light on this.

Keep in mind that before the initial 90 pulse all protons contributing to the MR signal are in a relaxed state completely in alignment with the static magnetic field. Flipping them 90 degrees into the transverse plane does align them up initially and yes they do relax at different rates as they give up their energy. The 180 pulse takes whatever state they are in at the time and flips them in order to not make them all 180, but to quickly get a cleaner non contaminated representation of the tissues in question. So for example after the initial 90 and after letting the protons relax for a bit you might see water at say 50 degrees and fat at say 70 degrees flipping them 180 keeps whatever energy state they are in the time.

MRI registry equations
now i'm disappointed i failed modules 4-5-6-7-8. 4-5-6 i thought i was good with my wife told me my scores so when i see it i hope all the ones i got wrong were all those stupid "filler questions" (b/c they are good for credits)that questions that i got wrong.

example: what happens when the service engineer mistakenly connects the z gradient coil to y gradient amplifer, and the y gradient coil to the z amplifer or something like that the registry don't ask that from what i was told

now i know why my friend took a live taught course cause he had mic and liked it then hated it
