ZIP512
What are the optimum parameters when using ZIP512 (ie; even nex? square matrix?)

MRI Study Guide
I am currently studying for the MRI registry. I am looking for "The MRI Study Guide for Technologists" by Kenneth Meacham. It is currently out of print, and I have been unable to find a copy. Does someone have an old copy that they wouldn't mind parting with?
Thank you in advance.

does the metaloceramic dental crowns are problem for MRI
Hi everybody,
I don't have an experiance with MRI, and i would like to know about metaloceramic crowns. It is true that they can be dangerous in MRI magnetic field. And if a patient have any metalic oject in the body (bulet or someting else) can it be livetreatening.

Thank you!

DTI FA-value
L1,L2,L3 ae the eigenvalues of the corresponding tensor.
LM=(L1+L2+L3)/3

Numerator = 3*[(L1-LM)^2 + (L2-LM)^2 + (L3-LM)^2]
Denominator = 2*[L1^2 + L2^2 + L3^2]
FA = sqrt(Numerator / Denominator )

Another definition is as follows:

Numerator = [(L1-L2)^2 + (L2-L3)^2 + (L3-L1)^2]
Denominator = 2*[L1^2 + L2^2 + L3^2]
FA = sqrt(Numerator / Denominator )

Hope this helps.

CE-MRA Vasovist protocol
We will start soon with Vasovist (MS-325) for peripheral CE-MRA with moving table. Expecting higher resolution due to longer possible scan times - but discussing timing and needed post processing.

Is bolus timing needed - is fluoroscopic triggering possible - for the arterial phase?
Any experiences with this contrast agent, a good scan protocol or some good sources about Vasovist?
Anything appreciated!

Greetings
