Contrast MRA COW.
ITS REALLY NOT NECESSARY TO ROUTINELY DO CE MRA OF THE "COW". BY UTILIZING A 3D SPOILED FAST GRE THEN MANUALLY RECONSTRUCTING THE MIP THE ARTERIES ARE SUFFICIENTLY ENHANCED.

shim system as normal

Then there should be a scout_silicone protocol.
tirm11_wss60b130.wlc TR 1530

If scout shows sillicone then use
tirm11_wss60b130.wlc TR 8568 4 mm cuts

If scout shows water only then use
tirm11_ss60b130.wlc TR 8568 4 mm cuts

The scout is :22 sec

The other sequences are 3:17

Does anyone remember how to shim for silicon on numaris?

I am having trouble with breast implants, I do not know how to adjust center frequency for proper shimming of water and silicon.

Some images look like saline and some look like silicon.

Old machine and do not have accsess to applications. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

contrast
c. MRI has higher special resolution than DSA

a. methemoglobin
b. hemosiderin
c. phagocytosis.
d. hemoglobin

5. .For cine gradient echo imaging with true FISP, which of the following statements is TRUE?
a. .images have better image contrast and acquisitions are faster than conventional cine gradient echo imaging
b. cine true FISP images can be performed on any MRI unit
c. to make true FISD images, intravenous gadolinium contrast is needed
d. .true FISP images cannot be used for breath- hold acquisitions because the sequence is too slow

6. Which one of the following statements is NOT

true about phase contrast imaging?
a. .phase contrast imaging is useful for measuring blood flow

MR jobs
Rajani,

If you have appropriate electronics training and experience it is relatively easy to get a job "servicing" MRI. R&D and other jobs are a little more difficult, but all manufacturers are looking for trainees in both their service and developement departments.

Start at the major OEM's websites (GE, Philips, Siemens, Hitachi, Toshiba etc.) and view their "career opportunities." I'm sure you'll find something.

Third party companies are also looking for trainees. Do a search on Google or Yahoo for "MRI Service" and you'll find many sites with job openings.

Good Luck,
Dan McGuan
